The new wave of skincare foundation, it’s giving glass skin!

It’s no surprise during this era of self-care & soft life, we’re swapping effort for effortless and our makeup routine is no exception. The only place my efforts have been going towards is my skincare, and it’s time to show off all that hard work. Full coverage foundations are quickly becoming a thing of the past, and many of us are opting for a makeup routine that reflects our new slower-paced lifestyle. Enter the glass skin trend.

I was finding the usual tried and tested sheer foundations, weren’t giving what they were supposed to of gave! Not ‘GLASS’ enough!

That was until I started getting into this new wave of elevated tinted foundations, they’re like tinted moisturizers’ younger, sexier, more effective sister. Now we’re getting high-grade skincare infused with pigment so foundation no longer looks cloggy, but weightless, whilst improving the overall look of your skin for the long term, YAY! Skin looks like skin but even-toned glowy, and perfect. Here are my top picks at the moment…

Perricone MD’s no make up foundation not only evens out skin tone but actually improves your skin whilst you wear it. it improves dark spots and skin texture whilst protecting your skin from UV, it also has a buildable coverage too!

Chanels Eau De Teint Water-Fresh Tint. This is Holiday skin in a bottle! Lightweight, hydrating and refreshing, micro-droplets of pigments melt into the skin creating a radiant bare-skin effect providing a softened, smooth finish, for an even complexion.

The Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum, is my current cant live without. This has a more satin finish and doest get greasy throughout the day. It evens out complextion, its super hydrating so it plumps the skin and smooths out any texture.
